Description
Ethernet is the foundation of not only LAN connectivity, but also commonly used as a last-mile connection between a service provider and its customers. Over the years, Ethernet has changed dramatically and has a broad spectrum of connection choices. Network engineers working with Ethernet should be aware of the multitude of Ethernet implementations possible. In this course, you’ll learn about the foundational elements of Ethernet as well as Layer 1 aspects of the Ethernet standard. This course is one of a series in the Algeo learning path that covers the objectives for the Cisco exam Building Cisco Service Provider Next-Generation Networks Part 1 exam (640-875 SPNGN1). This exam counts toward the CCNA Service Provider certification.
