In a multisite Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) deployment, special requirements exist that are not necessary in single-site deployments. Deploying Cisco Unified Communications solutions among multiple sites requires an appropriate dial plan, adequate bandwidth between sites, implementation of quality of service (QoS), and a design that can survive IP WAN failures. To successfully deploy a multisite CUCM solution, you need to understand the issues and be aware of their possible solutions.
This course discusses the issues in a multisite CUCM deployment, including selective public switched telephone network (PSTN) access and tail-end hop-off (TEHO). Information on how to solve issues that arise in multisite deployments is also provided.
