Six Sigma is a data-driven improvement program that focuses on process, product, and service quality and aims to reduce defects, variation, and costs. Six Sigma uses a rigorous and systematic methodology known as DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control) and a number of qualitative and quantitative tools for achieving profitability, customer satisfaction, and quality-related organizational goals.
|n This course will examine how Six Sigma helps organizations achieve their strategic goals. It introduces the key Six Sigma concepts and then moves on to discuss how they help achieve organizational goals by connecting business drivers to Six Sigma metrics and scorecards. This course is aligned with the ASQ Body of Knowledge and designed to assist Green Belt candidates toward their certification and to help them become productive members of their Six Sigma project teams.
