Many companies have legal guidelines and statutes for equal opportunity and affirmative action pertaining to diversity – but that is not the focus of this program. This program approaches the topic of diversity from a broader perspective – one that is inclusive of everyone, reflects our similarities as well as our differences, and welcomes the fact that we are already a diverse group of people working together. It is how we manage, focus on, integrate, and leverage our similarities and differences that matters – to our business, to the development of talent, and to the degree of respect and dignity we share. Diversity, however, can be accompanied by tensions and complexities that require your leadership direction and management skills.
