Description

Data storage is a fundamental part of an IT Infrastructure. Windows Server 2012 R2 provides many different storage provisioning, management, and security features to ensure that the organization’s data is available as needed. This course describes and demonstrates how to configure iSCSI storage and Internet Storage Name Service or iSNS. Storage optimization is also covered, as is Branchcache, a feature which allows data to be cached locally at the organization’s branch offices. This course is one of a series, which covers the objectives for Microsoft Exam 70-412: Configuring Advanced Windows Server 2012 Services. This exam is a requirement for the Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows Server 2012 certification.
