Description

Microsoft Windows Server 2012 is the newest version of Microsoft Windows Server and builds upon features found in previous versions of Windows Server, as well as providing a number of new features. This course examines IPv4 addressing, creating and calculating subnet masks, and how to use variable length subnet masks. This course also looks at supernetting, CIDR, the use of routers, and how to configure network address translation. Finally, the course looks at how the need to increase the Internet address space led to the development of the IPv6 addressing scheme. It is one of a series designed to prepare the learner for exam 70-410: Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012.

Please note this course is based on the original Windows Server 2012 release. Algeo recommends visiting the vendor website to confirm exam requirements.
