Description

GAPS is a coaching model that helps employees understand where they are and where they need to be. GAPS stands for Goals, Abilities, Perceptions, and Standards. The employee describes his or her Goals and Abilities. The coach or the organization enters Perceptions of that person and Standards defining success. The coach and employee discuss gaps between Abilities and Standards, Abilities and Perceptions, and Goals and Standards.
