It covers IP addressing, IP configuration settings, and name resolutions. The course also describes Windows 8 network troubleshooters and utilities, including the Network and Sharing Center’s troubleshooting wizards, Windows Network Diagnostics, and the traditional series of command-line utilities. It explores how to protect your system and network using Windows Firewall, Windows Firewall with Advanced Security, Windows Defender, connection security rules, and network isolation.
This course applies to objectives of the 70-687: Configuring Windows 8 exam of the MCSA: Windows 8 designation.
